 Casa Amiga means "friendly house," and is the Tecumseh YMCA's Latino outreach program. Its mission is to empower and educate the rapidly growing Latino community of Clark County through a variety of services, which are detailed below. Information and Referral Services
Legal Information and Referrals Casa Amiga educates and assists Latinos and employers about reference and procedures necessary to obtain Work Visas, Residency, U.S. Citizenship and/or matters related to Domestic Relations. Community Presentations Casa Amiga organizes community presentations for Latino residents of Clark County and representatives of government agencies, social service providers, and employers, and promotes "cultural awareness." Interpreting & Translating Services Casa Amiga provides translating services to clients at the Tecumseh YMCA and at the Work Plus Center in Springfield.
