Home Press Release Shop to Donate Childcare Adult Programs Youth Activities Membership Aquatics Staff & Board Training Success Story Events		January 6, 2010 Dear Friends of the Tecumseh Recreation and Wellness Center, As of today, our financial committee is still negotiating with PNC Bank to try to come to mutually agreeable terms. We are hoping to have a resolution soon, so that we can reopen in mid-January -- first as a facility only, and phasing in programs and services as resources become available. To help facilitate the negotiation process, we are currently reassessing our "Save our Facility" pledge total. We are optimistic that our supporters will stay committed to their pledges, and we thank everyone for their patience and support. Here are a few details you may find of interest: Once we come to terms with the bank, we will be contacting all donors with informationon how to fulfill their pledges. We will be communicating via phone, this web site, and through the media. We are in the process of stopping all membership bank drafts and payroll deductions for January. We will reinstate these automatic processes once we come to terms with the bank. We had problems contacting some individuals regarding the closing of our childcare center, and we apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused. If you still have personal items in a locker, we will be open this Saturday, January 9, from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Again, we thank everyone for their prayers and patience.
